Shovebox is a thought organizer for Mac. While virtually invisible when you don't need it, it is very easy to access it when you do. It isn't very heavy like other organizers (ie: Evernote, DEVONThink ), but if you just want something to organize your thoughts or files before you for get them, this is for you.
The most easy way to capture something is to make a new text note. However you can also capture Webarchives, bookmarks, pdfs and photos (jpg, gif, tiff, png).

If you want to make a text note in a hurry you can use Quickjot. Just type in a hotkey and it will open. Type in what you want to save, press enter, and it's saved. If you want to save something from the web, like a webarchive, or a pdf, there is a bookmarklet where you just press it, and it's added to Shovebox. Just drag
this link to your bookmarks bar.
Now that you have all of this stuff, you can organize it into folders, tag them, label them, and afterwards, view them.
A new feature is commenting. You can add comments that won't affect the file itself.
All in all, If you want an organizer for you thoughts, and other documents, this is perfect for you. The price might be a bit steep at $25, but trust me, it's worth it.
